What has changed?


Effective 1 May 2018, your vehicle's Service Plan will now remain active for the full number of service intervals it provides for, effectively allowing a year per service interval. This enables all Toyota owners to get the full value of their vehicle's Service Plan irrespective of their annual mileage.

The change automatically applies to all vehicles with active Service Plans as at 1 May 2018 and all new vehicles sold from this date. To get the full benefit of this, your vehicle should be serviced as per manufacturer's requirements (either on specified kilometer intervals or at least every 12 months as per your vehicle's Book of Life).

Effective 1 May, the table below outlines the revised Service Plan duration of all new Toyota vehicles and vehicles with active Service Plans:

The change to your vehicle's Service Plan duration is visible in the "Vehicle Detail" section of the MyToyota App (downloadable from App Store and Google Play).

There is no change to the benefit offered by your vehicle's Service Plan - it will continue cover to the cost of filters, spark plugs, remote batteries, oils, and fluids (brake fluid and engine coolant), as well as labour according to the service schedule.

Effective 1 May 2018, the Genuine Extended Service Plan will allow one year per additional service interval, capped at an overall maximum of 10 Years from the vehicle's original date of sale. All Genuine Extended Service Plans sold up to 1 May 2018 have been amended accordingly.
